Tanzia: Mwandishi wa 'Ngoswe, Penzi Kitovu cha Uzembe' afariki

Mwandishi maarufu wa tamthilia na kitabu cha ‘Ngoswe, Penzi Kitovu cha Uzembe’, Edwin Semzaba amefariki jana.

Mbali na kuwa mwandishi maarufu, Semzaba alikuwa mhadhiri katika Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam. Pia, alikuwa mwenyekiti wa Umoja Wa Waandishi wa Vitabu Tanzania (UWAVITA).

Semzaba ambaye kitabu chake cha Ngoswe, Penzi Kitovu cha Uzembe kilimpatia umaarufu mkubwa ndani na nje ya mipaka ya Tanzania, aliwahi kueleza kuwa alianza kuandika kitabu hicho akiwa anasoma kidato cha pili akiwa na umri wa miaka 16 tu.

Aliimalizia kazi yake hiyo nzuri baadae ambapo ilikubalika na kuanza kurushwa kupitia Radio Tanzania Dar es Salaam (RTD) na baadae kuiweka katika kitabu kilichokubalika na kutumika kama kitabu cha kiada kwa shule za sekondari.
