Mwanafunzi wa Kidato cha Tatu katika Shule ya Sekondari Nyanungu Tarafa ya Ingwe wilayani Tarime mkoani Mara, Charles Chacha (19), amekutwa amejinyonga chumbani kwake kwa kutumia kamba ya katani.

Diwani wa kata hiyo ya Nyanungu, Mang’enyi Ryoba amesema Chacha alijinyonga Februari 23, mwaka huu usiku, baada ya yeye na wenzake wawili wa kike kupewa barua shuleni siku hiyo ya adhabu ya kutodhudhuria shuleni kwa siku 14.

"Sababu ya kupewa barua hiyo ya adhabu haijafahamika. Tunafutilia kujua tatizo la wanafunzi hao lilikuwa ni nini.Tulitoa taarifa kituo cha Polisi Kegonga na Nyamwaga ambao walifika na kuuchukua mwili wa marehemu huyo,” alisema Diwani Mang’enyi.

Kamanda wa Polisi Tarime/ Rorya, Gemini Mushi alithibitisha kutokea kwa kifo hicho na kueleza kuwa chanzo kinachunguzwa.

Mwili wa marehemu umehifadhiwa kwenye chumba cha kuhifadhi maiti katika Hospitali ya Wilaya.
