Wadaiwa 16 Waliotorosha Makontena Bandarini Waanza Kufilisiwa ......Jana Zimekamatwa Kontena 9 za Mabati Ambazo Zitauzwa Kufidia Deni


MaliI zenye thamani ya Sh bilioni sita za baadhi ya wadaiwa 16, waliokwepa kulipa kodi ya Mamlaka ya Mapato Tanzania (TRA), baada ya kutorosha kontena za mizigo yao kwenye Bandari Kavu (ICD) ya Azam mwishoni mwa mwaka jana, zimekamatwa jana na zinafilisiwa.

Aidha, mali nyingine za thamani ya Sh bilioni 7.4 zimebainishwa na muda wowote kuanzia leo zitakamatwa ili kufilisiwa kwa lengo la kulipa kodi inayodaiwa na TRA.

Hayo yalibainishwa Dar es Salaam jana na Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya Kampuni ya Udalali ya Yono, iliyopewa kazi ya kufuatilia wadaiwa hao, Yono Kevella alipokuwa akizungumzia kuanza kwa kazi ya kukamata mali za wadaiwa hao na kufilisiwa.

Kevela alisema baada ya kuisha muda wa siku 14, walioutoa kwa wadaiwa 24 kulipa madeni yao ya Sh bilioni 18.95, hadi juzi ni wadaiwa nane tu waliweza kulipa, hivyo hao 16 hawakulipa na mali zao ndio zimeanza kukamatwa na kufilisiwa.

Aliwataja wadaiwa ambao mali zao zimekamatwa na wamekubali wenyewe zifilisiwe kulipa deni hilo kuwa ni Tifo Global Trading Co Ltd wanaodaiwa Sh bilioni 1.57 na Lotai Steel Tanzania Ltd wanaodaiwa Sh bilioni 5.47.

Alisema wadaiwa hao ni wawekezaji kutoka China na wamekubali kwa hiari yao mali zao zifilisiwe kulipa deni wanalodaiwa. 
Mali zilizokamatwa na ziko tayari chini ya kampuni hiyo ya Yono ni kontena tisa za mabati, zenye thamani ya Sh bilioni sita.

"Nitumie fursa hii kuwaalika wananchi wote wanaohitaji mabati waje ofisi za kampuni yetu kununua mabati hayo, yako mengi ni kontena tisa, tunachofanya si kumuonea mtu, bali tunatekeleza wajibu wetu tuliopewa wa kuhakikisha kodi ya serikali inalipwa”, alisema Kevella.

Alisema kazi ya kukamata mali za wadaiwa wengine 14, zinaendelea na ndani ya wiki moja kazi hiyo itakuwa imekamilika na iwapo wahusika wote hawatapatikana, Kampuni ya SSB ambayo ndiyo mmiliki wa bandari kavu ya (Azam ICD) na kampuni ya wakala wa forodha ya Regional Cargo Services, watahusika kulipa deni linalobaki.

"Kwa wale tutakaoshindwa kuwapata au kukamata mali za kutosha kulipa deni wanalodaiwa, mmiliki wa bandari kavu ya Azam ICD, na kampuni ya wakala wa forodha ya Regional Cargo Services, watapaswa kulipa”, alisisitiza Kevella.

Kevella alisema jana jioni walitarajia kukamata mali nyingine za Sh bilioni 7.4 za mdaiwa Tuff Tyres General Co Ltd, ambaye amekimbilia kufungua ombi mahakamani lakini Mahakama haijatoa uamuzi.

Alisema wameshazibainisha mali za mdaiwa huyo, ikiwa ni pamoja na jengo la ghorofa, matairi na nyumba iliyopo Msasani, ambazo zote kwa pamoja zikifilisiwa zitalipa deni la Sh bilioni 7.4 anazodaiwa.
