WAZIRI wa Habari, Utamaduni, Sanaa na Michezo, Nape Nnauye ameitaka Bodi
mpya ya Shirika la Utangazaji Tanzania (TBC) kupitia upya mkataba wa
StarTimes na shirika hilo.
Amesema kumekuwa na maneno kuhusu mkataba huo, hivyo bodi inapaswa
kubainisha vifungu vya sheria ambavyo vitahitaji kufanyiwa marekebisho.
Akizungumza katika uzinduzi wa bodi mpya chini ya Mwenyekiti wake,
Balozi Herbert Mrango, Nape alisema mapitio hayo yanaweza kufanyika
ndani ya mwezi mmoja, kubaini mapungufu yaliyopo.
“Bodi hii inapokea majukumu yaliyoachwa na bodi iliyopita. Majukumu hayo
ni pamoja na kupitia upya mkataba wa StarTimes na TBC kwani mkataba
uliopo utaisha na utatakiwa kuwa na mkataba mpya,’’ alisema Nape.
Pia aliitaka bodi hiyo kuhakikisha kwamba baada ya miaka minne, TBC
inajiendesha yenyewe kiuchumi kwa kuzingatia uwekezaji katika viwanja
vyao.
Alisisitiza kuwa ni vyema bodi hiyo ikaangalia upya muundo wa shirika
hilo na kwamba wawashirikishe wafanyakazi ili wajue nafasi zao.
