Leo ni Leo: Watanzania Wanapiga Kura Nchi Nzima Kumchagua Rais, Wabunge, Wawakilishi na Madiwani

Leo Watanzania watatumia haki yao ya kikatiba kuchagua Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano, Rais wa Zanzibar, wabunge wa Bunge la Muungano, madiwani na wawakilishi kwa upande wa visiwani baada ya utawala wa Serikali ya Awamu ya Nne kuhitimisha kipindi chake cha pili cha miaka mitano.

Ni siku ambayo inahitimisha kampeni ya takriban siku 64 za wagombea wa nafasi mbalimbali kujinadi kwa wananchi ili wapewe dhamana ya kuwaongoza kwa miaka mitano ijayo.

Ni siku ambayo Watanzania watakuwa wakipiga kura kwa mara ya tano kwenye Uchaguzi Mkuu tangu mwaka 1995 baada ya Serikali kurejesha siasa za ushindani mwaka 1992.

Katika uchaguzi wa mwaka huu, vyama nane vimesimamisha wagombea urais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania.

Wagombea  hao  ni John Magufuli, anayegombea kwa tiketi ya CCM, Edward Lowassa (Chadema), Anna Mghwira (ACT Wazalendo) na Macmillan Lyimo wa TLP.

Wengine ni Hashim Rungwe wa Chaumma, Chifu Litasola Yemba (ADC), Fahmi Dovutwa (UPDP) na Junken Kasambala wa NRA.
